Black and Tan Tooled Leather Flask – Single Bloom Scrollwork
No cards. No colour. Just the carving.
A 150 ml steel flask sleeved in tan leather, with one large bloom carved dead centre and scrollwork turning around it. Every recess behind the carving is blacked out. Black borders top and bottom, laced in white. Nothing painted, nothing added.
What Makes It Work
One central flower. A full open bloom is carved and beveled by hand at the centre of the panel, petals veined with fine cut lines and the seed centre stamped in.
Blacked-out backgrounds. The stamped recesses behind the scrollwork are filled black, so the tan carving stands off the surface in hard relief.
Turning acanthus scroll. Carved leaves sweep around the bloom in a full curl, with fine arrowhead accents cut into the open leather.
White lace whipstitch edging. Flat white leather lacing runs through the black top and bottom borders in a diamond stitch.
Polished stainless cap. Knurled screw cap on a hinged captive arm. It swings clear when open and stays with the flask.
Natural leather base. The underside is plain vegetable-tanned tan inside a black edge.
How to Use It
Fill it, cap it, pocket it. 150 ml is one generous pour or two smaller ones — enough for a rodeo, a tailgate, a cold morning, a long drive. It sits flat in a back pocket or a jacket. With no painted motif, it stays the quietest of the range, which makes it the easiest one to give to someone whose taste you don't know.
Cleaning & Care
Wash the inside only. Rinse with warm water, swirl, and leave it to air dry with the cap open.
The leather wrap must never get wet. Do not submerge the flask. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Wipe the leather with a dry or barely damp cloth and keep it out of long direct sun. Undyed tan leather will darken and deepen with handling.
