Natural Tan Tooled Leather Slide Sandals – Turquoise Flowers

Undyed leather. Turquoise blooms. Carved one flower at a time.

These slides are made from full grain leather in its natural undyed tone, tooled by hand in our Jaipur workshop. Scrollwork runs the length of both straps, with flowers picked out in soft turquoise — the only colour on the sandal, and enough to carry it.

Underneath sits a contoured cork footbed on a treaded rubber outsole. Light, warm and easy to wear.

What Makes Them Work

Two independent buckles. Each strap adjusts on its own, so you set the fit across your toes and across your instep separately. Useful on hot days, or when you wear them from morning until night.

Hand-carved floral tooling. Blooms and long scrolls cut deep into the leather, with fine stitch detail along every strap edge. You can feel the relief under your thumb.

Turquoise flower detail. Colour applied by hand to the petals only, leaving the scrollwork natural. Placement and tone vary slightly from pair to pair.

Contoured cork footbed. Shaped with an arch and a heel cup. Cork softens with wear and settles toward the shape of your own foot.

Treaded rubber outsole. Patterned for grip. Steady on tile, pavement and stone.

Antique brass buckles.

How to Wear Them

Slide them on and go. Once the buckles are set, there is nothing to fasten.

Undyed leather is the lightest of the tooled range. It reads well with cream, white, linen and denim, and the turquoise gives it a lift without shouting.

Care Instructions

Leather straps. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth after wear. Dry naturally, away from direct sun and heat. Condition every few months with a small amount of neutral leather balm, worked in gently along the carved lines. Take extra care over the turquoise petals — rub lightly, never scrub, and avoid solvents or alcohol-based cleaners, which can lift hand-applied colour.

Cork footbed. Brush off dust with a dry brush. Do not soak or submerge. If they get wet, dry them slowly at room temperature.

Rubber outsole. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Storage. Cool, dry place with good airflow. No sealed plastic bags for long storage — leather needs to breathe.

A note on wear. Undyed leather darkens noticeably with use and sun. That deepening is expected, and it happens faster on this finish than on the dyed ones.
