This is the classic one. Tan leather carved like an old saddle, over brown and white hair-on leather. It's warm, earthy and made to be carried for years. It works just as well on a weekday as on a trip to the stockyards.
What Makes It Work
- Hand-tooled tan flap. Deep-carved flowers and scrolls across the top, trimmed with cream buckstitch.
- Tooled front pocket. A second carved tan panel with a zip pocket and a brown leather pull tab.
- Brown and white hair-on body. Every hide is marked differently, so no two bags look the same.
- Zip side pockets. One on each side, wrapped in hair-on leather.
- Hair-on shoulder straps. Faced with hair-on leather and edged in dark brown leather.
- Brown leather back and handle. A smooth brown leather back panel and top handle.
- Brass zip hardware. Brass zips with leather pull tabs throughout.
How to Wear It
- Wear it on both shoulders for everyday carry and travel.
- Grab it by the top handle for quick lifts.
- Keep small things in the front and side zip pockets.
- Pair it with cream, camel or denim to bring out the tan tooling.
Cleaning & Care
- Brush the hair-on leather gently in the direction of the hair.
- Wipe the tooled and smooth leather with a dry, soft cloth, and condition it every few months. The tan will deepen with time.
- Spot clean only. Never soak or machine wash.
- Keep it away from rain. If it gets wet, air dry it away from direct heat.
- Store it stuffed and upright in a dust bag.
